What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is the clear, comfortable, removable alternative to braces.

How does it work?
Invisalign uses 3-D computer imaging technology to map out the entire treatment from start to finish.  From this plan, a series of custom-made aligners is produced.  Each aligner is worn for two weeks and gradually moves your teeth, before being replaced by the next in the series until the final position is achieved.

How long does treatment take?
While treatment time will vary based on the complexity of each individual case, on average total treatment time is about a year.  The average number of aligners worn is between 18 and 30.

How often will I need to come into the dental office?
You will visit us about every six weeks.  We will give you the aligners to change on your own during that six week period.

How do I eat with Invisalign?
The aligners are removed to eat, brush and floss.

How long do I wear the aligners?
They are worn 24 hours a day, except time to eat, brush and floss.

Does it hurt?
There is some slight pressure when the aligners are changed that should resolve within 72 hours.  It will not affect eating habits.

What are the benefits of Invisalign?

  • Nearly invisible - You can straighten your teeth without having anyone know.
  • Removable- You can still eat and drink what you want
  • Better oral hygiene- You can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy gums and teeth.
  • Comfortable- There are no wires, metal, or brackets to cause mouth abrasions.

How will I know if I am a candidate for Invisalign?
Contact our office to schedule your free consultation.  After a short check with our computerized system and an observation appointment we can determine if Invisalign will work for you.

How much does it cost?
Invisalign treatment is often similar to the cost of traditional braces.

Do you offer payment options?
We offer up to 18 months interest-free payment options for Invisalign treatment.
