Here’s what we’ll do at your comprehensive checkup:

• Take your blood pressure
• Note any changes in your health or medications
• Conduct a tour of your mouth with our non-invasive intraoral camera
• Perform an oral cancer screening
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays), if necessary
• Examine your teeth for decay with our DIAGNOdent laser
• Assess the integrity of existing dental work
• Examine your gums for signs of periodontal disease
• Evaluate how well your top and bottom teeth fit together
• Discuss any concerns and possible treatments, including cosmetic solutions

Dr. Puig will explain her findings and your treatment options, if applicable, before you leave. You’ll also receive a customized, informational packet explaining any dental treatments you may need in the future. If no services are needed or desired at the time of your appointment, we’ll simply recommend that you make an appointment for your next six-month checkup.
