Viper Intraoral Camera

Seeing the same view of the inside of your mouth as your dentist is now possible with the intra oral camera. This tool has become an indispensable diagnostic device in helping dentists identify such problems as plaque, gum disease, broken teeth, decay, defective fillings and more.

As Dr. Puig gently moves the camera inside your mouth, you’ll look at a monitor that displays what Dr. Puig is seeing. It’s like getting a grand tour, only the tour is of your teeth and gums. She’ll explain in detail any concerns and answer any of your questions. The intra oral camera has been extremely instrumental in helping patients understand their specific dental treatment needs.

How does it work?

The intra oral camera is a video camera in the shape of a pen that Dr. Puig moves around inside your mouth. Because of the camera’s size, Dr. Puig is able to obtain a detailed video exam of each tooth. These images have the ability to be stored, enlarged and printed. Dr. Puig will also use the intra oral camera to track your treatment success during future visits.
