If you have an incomplete smile, it’s crucial to revitalize it with strong, durable, replacement teeth. You’ll look young, feel better, and regain the ability to eat, speak, and laugh with confidence. Dr. Puig offers a variety of smile-renewing options, including full dentures, partial dentures, and implant-supported dentures. Following your consultation, your restorative dentist will explain your options and work with you to find the best one for your unique situation.
Full Dentures
Have you lost all or most of your teeth? Dr. Puig may recommend full dentures. This prosthetic solution contains an upper and/or lower row of life-like replacement teeth set in a base the color of your gums. Dr. Puig will design your dentures to provide a realistic appearance and comfortable function.
Implant-Supported Dentures
To achieve maximum stability with a lower row of replacement teeth, Dr. Puig may suggest implant-supported dentures. An oral surgeon will place tiny titanium posts in the front of your lower jaw, and we’ll apply special fixtures to your existing or new denture. The fixtures will snap on to the implants to hold your replacement teeth firmly in place. You won’t need adhesive or experience embarrassing slippage.
Partial Dentures
If you have some healthy teeth remaining, a partial denture can beautifully renew your smile. You’ll be able to eat without discomfort and speak clearly. Plus, you’ll feel better about yourself because your smile will look fabulous. By filling the gaps left by missing teeth, your existing teeth won’t shift. Teeth that drift out of position can cause serious problems, including the loss of more teeth, as well as bite changes that can result in jaw joint problems. We’ll secure your partial denture with unobtrusive metal clasps. Dr. Puig also offers metal-free Valplast Flexible Partials.
