Removable Partials and Dentures

If you are missing one or more teeth, it is crucial that you either obtain a bridge, implants, a partial denture or full denture. After your consultation with Dr. Puig, she will carefully discuss your options with you. If you decide to obtain removable partial dentures or full upper and lower dentures, Dr. Puig and her team will make every effort to make you feel comfortable and confident that you will be completely satisfied with the end result.

Upper or Lower Partial Denture

An upper or lower partial denture usually means that you are saving some of your original teeth and do not need a full denture. The good news is you should be able to chew better with your partial denture, not to mention feel better because your teeth will look fabulous. You will also be doing yourself a favor by replacing missing teeth. By filling in those empty spaces in your mouth, your original teeth will not have an opportunity to shift around. This shifting around can cause many serious dental problems, such as losing more teeth, changing your bite and creating problems with your jaw joint (TMJ).

Full Dentures

Sometimes the best solution may be to remove the remaining teeth and proceed with making a full denture. Each situation is unique, and you can be assured that Dr. Puig will explain all your options to you carefully and clearly.
