The opening of Dynamic Smile Design is truly a success story about the determination and hard work of Elena C. Puig. Originally from Havana, Cuba, the doctor’s family immigrated to the United States when she was just three months old and settled in Miami, Florida.
Upon graduation from The University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science, Dr. Puig attended Boston’s prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate Degree in Medical Dentistry. She then returned to Orlando to start her career as a dentist in private practice. Her accomplishments in dentistry over the last 20 years have earned her a reputation as a leader in the field of both general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. She has worked tirelessly to become one of the best dentists in Orlando. Recognized both locally and nationally, Dr. Puig has patients from all over the state and often from other parts of the world.

At our busy practice, we'd have a hard time getting everything done without Julie, our Patient Care Coordinator. Julie has been working in the dental field for over 13 years, and she keeps honing her craft by taking continuing education classes. Julie helps with everything in our office from scheduling exams to making financial arrangements with patients who don’t have insurance. Julie is married and has two beautiful daughters who she loves spending time with. She also loves cooking, quilting, shopping, and finding hidden treasures at antique shops. Julie loves working in a dental office because of the way dentistry can affect people’s lives. “I love helping people achieve their dental goals and watching how a confident smile changes the way people feel about themselves.” -Julie
Mara loves her job welcoming and comforting patients, answering their questions, and prepping them to see Dr. Puig. She finds it rewarding to see the confidence patients gain when they leave the office with a complete, beautiful smile. Mara has 9 years of experience in dentistry and has become a valued member of our team since she joined in 2013.
A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mara enjoys spending time with her husband, their young daughter, and their cat, Snow. She also enjoys shopping when she gets the chance.
With 14 years of experience in dental care, her gentle but thorough approach to patient care makes Amy a great addition to the team. She’s passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health and she’s happy to have Dr. Puig as a role model to become the best dental professional she can be.
Amy is happily married and has twin girls. She enjoys an active lifestyle including camping, attending concerts, watching football, and spending quality time with friends and family.
When you come in for your next dental checkup, Julia might be the dental hygienist in charge of cleaning your teeth. As a certified registered dental hygienist, Julia works hard to help patients to reach their dental goals each and every day. Julia decided to become a dental hygienist because it offered her independence and the chance to help other people. She has stated “After 14 years of helping people, you create relationships with patients that make coming to work every day enjoyable and fulfilling.” When she isn’t helping patients to ward off unsightly decay in the dental office, Julia loves to do anything outdoors, including kayaking, hiking, paddle boarding, and cycling. She also loves travelling abroad to see the world and trying new and exciting restaurants with family and friends.
